TIM CLIFFORD
President
Tim joined US Security in 2019 and brings over 19 years of experience in project management, engineering design, and operations management. Prior to joining USSS, Tim worked in the heavy equipment and rail industry as a hydraulics specialist, project engineer, engineering and operations manager. Tim obtained his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University in 2002 as well as an MBA from Auburn University – Montgomery in 2008.
JOSEPH AMES
Vice President
Joe joined US Security in 2019 and brings over 10 years of experience in contract management, strategic sourcing, and project management. Prior to joining USSS, Joe worked in the utility power industry as a Sourcing Agent and Contracts Agent. Joe obtained his BS in Supply Chain Management from Auburn University in 2011 and his MBA from the University of West Georgia in 2015.
RON CLIFFORD
Project Consultant
One of the founders of US Security Systems, Ron has over 45 years of experience in the detention equipment industry. Prior to the founding of USSS, Ron worked as a project manager within the detention industry. In the 30+ years since the founding of US Security, Ron has overseen the successful completion of hundreds of detention projects.
JOHN AMES
Project Consultant
John joined US Security as Owner in 1998 and has over 39 years of experience in the detention industry. John began his career in 1980 at DISCO Aluminum Products, a manufacturer of Detention windows. Over the next 18 years he worked for several DECs before joining US Security. During the 25+ years John has been with USSS, he has overseen the successful completion of hundreds of detention projects. John has a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Auburn University.
BRITTANY EILAND
Controller
Brittany joined U.S. Security in 2020. Brittany has over 16 years of experience in accounting, purchasing, and inventory control. Prior to her time at US Security, Brittany worked for a large equipment
manufacturer managing payables, receivables, producing income statements and balance sheets as well multiple other responsibilities. Brittany has a B.S. in Business Administration from Troy University.
